From Gossip Girl to Green Lantern

Hal Jordan's boss at Ferris Air, and future Star Sapphire, has been cast in Martin Campbell's Green Lantern

Blake Lively will play Carol Ferris, the female lead opposite Green Lantern played by Ryan Reynolds. 

Ferris runs her an aerospace company that hires the cocky test pilot Hal Jordan, the alter ego of Green Lantern (Reynolds).

Shooting for the big-budget film starts in March, using Louisiana as its location. Film will be released 17 June 2011.

Blake Lively is represented by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.

Not really familiar with the actress, she doesn't come off as striking. Though I'm still positive that this movie will be spectacular.
