Watchmen 2?!?!

The halls of geekdom, transformed into bloodthirsty raving maniacs, hearing that blasphemous notion of doing a sequel to what is considered sacred!

Enters Niki Finke to calm down the nerds:
It's all over the place. 'Watchmen' sequel news. My question is why? How could there be a sequel or a prequel to the best stand alone movies in years? Comic book movie or not. Turns out my hunch may be correct.

Niki Finke says:

"But a well-placed insider tells me: "There is no truth to anything related to a movie sequel. Not a chance by a longshot. With regards to the comics, well, I guess anything is possible. I'll keep my opinion to myself as to whether it's a smart idea to do so."
